The Lurkers - New Guitar In Town

On this date in 1979, The Lurkers released their sixth single, "New Guitar In Town". It was backed "Little Ole Wine Drinker Me". Neither track initially appeared on an album but both were added as bonus tracks to their second album, God's Lonely Men, when it was re-released on CD. The London punk band was one of England's original punk bands, forming in 1976. They first disbanded in 1979 and have been together sporadically since.
