Another Very Distinct Possibility

All this shit could be a publicity stunt to promote his album.

Ever notice how rappers get shot, or catch cases right before their album is about to drop, then nothing ever really comes of the case on either side?

Ever notice that people with a lot of money can live on whatever side of the law they want to live on. And of course manipulate the media?

Again, I really have no idea what happened. I haven't talked to anyone in Drama's camp yet. I'm just collecting information and hopefully in the end I will come out with a story that puts this whole mixtape thing/death of hip-hop/music industry fuckery into some sort of perspective.

If anyone will talk to me.

DJ Drama is out of jail, and was on Atlanta radio already. From what I have heard he didn't say much about what happened just promoted his album and people called in to voice their support. If I get audio I'll post it, I got people on the case right now.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Department Website still lists both Drama and Don Cannon as being locked up, but it also says it only updates every 24 hours. If you wanna see what it says for yourself, go to: www.fultonsheriff.org and do a search. Here's what it says at the moment:

That being said, it probably isn't a publicity stunt but don't ever rule anything out in this here music business thang thang.

That being said, did anyone else notice that all the mixtape sites have taken down all the mixtapes and have kind of pulled out of the biz for the moment? All the DJ's I know are crazy nervous because of this.

Seriously, they need to leave that mixtape shit alone and GO FIGHT SOME OTHER CRIME.

Legalize Weed and Mixtapes for the '07.

So sez the real.
