Last Nights Damage Control

Man well, it went down. How many times I gotta tell y'all that it went down, like every morning when I wake up? Oh what a job this is indeed. Peep the audio below. Hear the words of wisdom from the one Bun B, new music from purt near errybody you need to hear right now, samplin' of the new UGK album if for some reason you are still sleepin', etc, and then some.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD LAST NIGHTS DAMAGE CONTROL. 40 MINUTE INTERVIEW WITH BUN B. IF YOU BEEN SITTIN' ROUND LISTENING TO PIMP C TELL BOYS TO TAKE THEY FANGAZ OUT THEY BOOTYHOLES AND SUCH, PLEASE TAKE SOME TIME TO FEEL THE YIN TO SUCH YANG. JAM IT ON THE WAY TO THE OZONE AWARDS AND TELL ME WHEN YOU GET THERE HOW MUCH YOU LUH DAT.

Off with his head we're takin' the hood back. In more ways than one. More yin, less yang.

Also we opened the show with my new favorite song, Aesop Rock featuring John Darnielle of the Mountain Goats "Coffee." I got caught up with Bun B walking in the door and I don't think I ever announced the name of the song, but peep that out closely. And John Darnielle, that's the homey man. Big, big supporter of real rap, and a magnanimous songwriter. I been jammin' that The Sunset Tree a lot lately. REAL REPRESENT REAL!

"There's an anvil with some cash in it by the front door, this is what they make you take the medication for." Yes, John, I feel that.

Did I just say that my new favorite song is from Aesop Rock? Well one of them at least. I remember WAY back in the day when I first got AIM and Blockhead was tony1er and he'd tell me about this new kid from the Lower East Side that I need to hear, and I heard him and since then, I might not have sat around and jammed Aesop Rock all day throughout the years, but I respect his unique voice and perspective. AND DJ WIZ THE REALEST. Hold up!

ALSO LETS NOT FORGET DEVIN IS ON THE COVER OF THE HOUSTON PRESS! GO PICK THAT UP!
