The Gist - This Is Love

On this date in 1980, The Gist released their debut single, "This Is Love". It was backed by "Yanks". Neither track appeared on an album. The Caerdydd, Wales post punk band was formed by ex-Young Marble Giants' guitarist Stuart Moxham. They released three singles and one album before disbanding in 1983.
