Grand Rapids, Michigan's own Born Without A Face were an extremely dark and ominous hardcore band. Having influences like metal/sludge and overall dark creepy fast sound as well as the crossover movement which was happening at the time.

Mank Dancey was an ultra cool guy back in the day and a budding artist, he hipped me to his band and we shared contacts and alliances for a few projects and comps. They ony released two 7 inches and some demos as well as appearing on numerous compilations. Check out bloggedquartered.blogspot.com for some more info + music.

Mank soon went on to Big Chief, a band featuring Barry from the Necros, and became a respected and well known artist.

I ripped these from the 7 inches he sent me at 320...dig in.
